A little bit of our history
Establishment Bar by Merivale Sydney is a sleek and sophisticated events venue perfectly located in the city centre. The former George Patterson House is a timeless space and the perfect backdrop for city weddings, corporate functions and social events.
With extravagant lighting and a sleek, long marble bar, the column-lined venue is nothing short of spectacular. Whether you’re throwing a grand wedding, a business meeting, or a private dinner, Establishment Bar is guaranteed to impress and has an abundance of space for entertaining.
The grand space also leads out onto The Garden, a spacious and private outdoor courtyard filled with light and greenery, enclosed in a towering brick-walled heritage building backdrop. It’s an atrium like space with an alfresco vibe.
Establishment Bar is conveniently located in Establishment Precinct on George Street in the heart of the city and is surrounded by a number of luxury bars, restaurants, and five-star hotels. Upstairs, the Establishment Hotel boasts two penthouse suites and a boutique hotel feel.
